A former Mississippi State football player has passed away following a battle with COVID-19.
Tyler Threadgill, who suited up for the Bulldogs from 2003-06, passed away over the weekend, according to the university.
Tyler Threadgill, the son former MSU quarterback Bruce Threadgill and wife Angie Burkes Threadgill, passed away this weekend after a battle with COVID-19. Tyler played in 18 games during his own MSU football career. Please remember this Bulldog family in your prayers.#MSUFamily

A Philadelphia, Mississippi native, Threadgill was the son of former MSU QB Bruce Threagill and saw action in 18 games during his career in Starkville both on offense and on special teams.
