Starting Monday, July 25, the Mississippi State Department of Health will be offering free at-home COVID-19 tests at all of its county health departments.
Each household can receive up to eight tests of BinaxNOW antigen rapid self-tests per month. A doctor’s note or documentation is not required. Tests are not for resale.
Tests may be picked up during regular health department hours. An appointment isn’t necessary.
If you have a positive home test result, you can report it to the MSDH online.
Mississippi is averaging 1,440 positive COVID-19 cases per day over the past week, a 25% increase from two weeks ago.
