Delta State Day of Giving 2022 set for Thursday

Delta State University students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends will come together on Thursday, September 15 for the school’s 2022 Day of Giving.

All proceeds from the day will go to the Delta State Fund, formerly known as the Annual Fund, which is an unrestricted fund set aside for the university’s greatest needs. That includes money for scholarships, beautification of the campus, and other operational expenses.

“This makes the money raised through the Delta State fund extremely important in continuing to further the advancement of Delta State and its students,” Delta State Fund Coordinator Mallory Burchfield said. “We hope that everyone will consider donating this year to commemorate Delta State’s 97th anniversary and the Delta State Day of Giving.”

Supporters can visit www.deltastate.edu/givingday to make a tax-deductible gift. You can also stop by DSU Hugh Ellis Walker Alumni Foundation House, or mail a check to DSU Box 3141, 1003 West Sunflower Road, Cleveland, MS, 38733 with “DSU Day of Giving” in the memo.
