Mississippi’s favorite car show is right around the corner.
Scheduled for Oct. 2-9, another big turnout is expected for this year’s edition of Cruisin’ the Coast.
“This is year 26, and we are right on par with last year’s event,” Cruisin’ the Coast Executive Director Woody Bailey said. “And that was the largest event we’ve ever had.”
In 2021, Cruisin’ the Coast had 9,500 vehicles registered. As of last week, 8,025 were already pre-registered with representation from 44 states, Canada, and England.
“Our first person from England is going to be here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, so we’ve got a great show in store for everyone,” Bailey said. “I invite everyone to come out and come see us.”
Entertainment for this year includes the typical flame-throwing competition, burnouts, as well as performances from both Jay Leno and The Beach Boys.
