Three of the four suspects allegedly involved in a Saturday shooting at Northpark Mall have been taken into custody.

Ridgeland Police Chief Bryan Myers has confirmed that 24-year-old Jamari Jaquez Brown and 22-year-old Kyandre Rahkeem Harris — both Yazoo City natives  — alongside 20-year-old James Earl Cole, Jr. of Benton have been arrested.

Cole was the shooting victim in the incident. The 20-year-old reportedly shot himself in the hip as he pulled a handgun from his waistband.

After the incident, authorities were notified that a person, later identified as Cole, had arrived at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Yazoo City with a gunshot wound to the hip.

Cole is charged with discharging a firearm within the city, carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. He was given an $11,000 bond.

Brown and Harris are charged with carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. Each was handed an $8,500 bond.

20-year-old Jalen Deonte Carter, a suspect wanted for his alleged involvement in the incident, is currently at large.
