A Columbus teenager has passed away after being shot the day before Thanksgiving.
According to WTVA, Labronze Moore, 17, was taken to a local hospital on Wednesday evening after the shooting took place near the Ready Mart gas station in the 200 block of North McCrary Road.
Moore was later transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday around 12 p.m.
The local TV station is reporting nearly 30 bullet casings found at the scene of the shooting. At this time, no arrests have been announced by officials in Lowndes County.
