Future college students will have the opportunity to earn some cash this week with a round of scholarships being made available.
State Treasurer David McCrae announced that College Savings Mississippi will be attending this week’s MHSAA football championship games with $5,000 worth of scholarships on hand.
To enter for a chance to win, students are encouraged to find the treasurer’s team at the ticket gate before each game to register for a raffle. Those who purchase tickets for games in advance on GoFan will automatically be entered for a chance to win a scholarship.
The Mississippi Affordable College Savings scholarships can grow over time and be used on elementary and secondary school tuition, education-related technologies (such as laptops), books, college tuition, and more.
