The Jackson Police Department is searching for two suspects who are on the run following a fatal shooting that occurred outside of a hospital last month.

On Tuesday, JPD released arrest warrants for Jaylein Wallace, 26, and Deanna Bridges, 29, following the death of 25-year-old Elisha Bridges at Merit Health Central on Chadwick Drive on December 17.

According to police, the incident is said to have stemmed from a domestic dispute between the three individuals.

Wallace has since been charged with murder while Bridges is currently wanted for hindering prosecution. Investigators believe both suspects are on the run in the Bolton and Edwards area.

Wallace was previously charged with aggravated assault in 2020 for a shooting in Edwards three years prior before being taken into custody again for another shooting in March of 2021.

Officials are asking those with information about the suspects’ whereabouts to contact JPD at (601) 960-1234 or Crime Stoppers at (601) 355-8477.
