Two people are reported to be deceased following an overnight shooting in central Mississippi.
According to the Brandon Police Department, the gunfire rang out around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning in the area of Mary Myles Drive and Mary Crain Circle.
Upon arrival at the location of the shooting, officers discovered two dead individuals whose identities have not been released at this time. Both succumbed to injuries from gunshots.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident. No arrests have been announced at this time.
