One person has been taken into custody after a man was killed at a Jackson tennis complex Wednesday morning.
The unidentified 19-year-old male was arrested shortly after 1 p.m. when he crashed the vehicle stolen from Alfred McNair, Jr. on Ridgewood Road in front of Jackson Fire Station 19. McNair was found dead in a pool of blood at Parham Bridges Park just hours earlier.

According to officials with the Jackson Police Department, detectives learned that a maroon 2016 GMC Sierra pickup truck had been taken after McNair was killed. Officers spotted the suspect before a chase ensued. A second vehicle is also reported to have crashed during the chase.
Both JPD and Capitol Police responded to the scene. Chief Joseph Wade is expected to provide more details during a press conference Wednesday afternoon.
