Arrest made after Lafayette County sheriff’s deputies injured during disturbance call

One man is facing charges after two Lafayette County sheriff’s deputies were injured during a disturbance call on Tuesday.

Upon arriving at a home on County Road 459, the deputies are said to have been attacked by Michael Foster, 27, as they tried to take the suspect into custody.

Foster is now charged with two counts of simple assault on a police officer. His bond was set at $10,000.

According to LCSO, the two deputies involved suffered minor injuries.
