12th annual Radiothon benefitting Palmer Home for Children raises more than $330,000

SuperTalk Mississippi Media and Palmer Home for Children are thrilled to announce that the 12th annual SuperTalk Mississippi Radiothon raised more than $330,000 to support vulnerable children. Held Thursday on the Palmer Home campus near Hernando, the event featured compelling testimonials from children, staff, and supporters, captivating listeners nationwide throughout the day. The Gallo Show, MidDays with Gerard Gibert, Good Things with Rebecca Turner, and SportsTalk Mississippi shared inspiring stories and engaging interviews from the129-year-old nonprofit.

The Radiothon concluded with an impressive total of $335,423.12 raised for Palmer Home for Children. Established in 1895, Palmer Home serves children from newborns to 24-year-olds, offering a nurturing environment through its Campus Care, Family Care, Foster Care, and Transitional Care programs.

Designated as SuperTalk Mississippi’s charity of choice in 2013, Palmer Home has benefited significantly from the annual Radiothon, raising more than $2.7 million to date.

“This marks our 12th year hosting the Radiothon, a cherished tradition among our team and listeners,” said Kim Dillon, President and CEO of SuperTalk Mississippi Media. “It’s a day when we pause our regular programming to spotlight the incredible impact of Palmer Home for Children.
