McAlister’s Deli to host ‘Free Tea Day’ on Thursday

Mississippians craving one of the South’s favorite beverages from a restaurant native to the Magnolia State are in for a treat as McAlister’s Deli is poised to hold its 16th annual “Free Tea Day” this week.

Valid only on Thursday at participating locations nationwide, customers will receive a “Big Tea” —  sweet tea, unsweet tea, tea/lemonade, sweet tea/unsweet tea, flavored teas, and one flavor shot — at no cost.

Whether a customer is looking to pair the drink with a lunchtime or dinner meal or simply desires an afternoon or evening boost, McAlister’s will be brewing and serving up its famous tea all day for patrons’ enjoyment.

No additional purchases are required for those who come into the store to redeem the offer. The free tea offer is automatically applied at checkout and limits one tea per person in-store and four teas per order online or via the McAlister’s app. Non-tea beverages, kid’s drinks, and substitutions are not included in the offer.

Service and delivery fees will be applied to mobile orders. McAlister’s will not discount tea orders with any additional rewards applied and for deliveries from third-party companies.

Founded in Oxford by Dr. Don Newcomb in 1989, McAlister’s has become a mainstay of Mississippi’s restaurant scene with 40 locations across the Magnolia State and a whopping 515 additional locations across the U.S.
