Mississippi State unveils new ‘icy’ white uniforms ahead of 2024 campaign

The Mississippi State football team will begin the Jeff Lebby era in style.

On Thursday, the Bulldogs took to social media to unveil a set of all-white uniforms the team has yet to don. A new feature was added to MSU’s popular away concept with the maroon jersey numbers, the parallel stripes on the shoulders, and script “State” lettering on the helmet highlighted by a collection of white dots, giving the uniform a distinctive look.

The block “M” logo with “State” across the middle is displayed on the chest of the jersey between the SEC and Adidas logos. “Bulldogs” is spotted on the backplate of the jersey with a small Mississippi patch above the lettering.

MSU will look for a fresh start under Lebby following a disastrous 2023 season in which they finished with a 5-7 record and won just one conference game. The first-year head coach brings a wealth of knowledge to Starkville after having served under some of the greatest offensive minds in the modern era of the sport, including Lane Kiffin and Josh Heupel.

The Bulldogs will return to the gridiron to take on Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Aug. 31.
