Officials in Mississippi’s capital city are still investigating what caused a fire to break out at a local public school.
On Wednesday around 7:50 p.m., firefighters responded to the blaze at Baker Elementary School on East Santa Clara Street.
According to the Jackson Fire Department, one portable classroom was a complete loss, and two adjacent, portable classrooms sustained major damage.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
