Milwaukee Tool will soon be opening its $60 million facility in Grenada after delays.
The 500,000-square-foot facility, located on the I-55 Business and Technology Park, is expected to open on October 2. When the project was announced in 2021, the center had an initial opening date of “late 2022.”
Roughly two years later, Milwaukee Tool’s presence in Grenada County will finally bear fruit. The plant will employ 800 people tasked with producing cordless screwdrivers, drills, electric saws, and more.
For those looking to apply for a job at the Grenada facility, the company will be hosting a job fair on October 3. Folks can also click here to apply for a job at the plant online.
