A Marine Corps recruiter from Mississippi has been arrested and is accused of having sex with a minor who was trying to enlist in the military.
According to the Tupelo Police Department, 24-year-old Brady Dean is charged with sexual assault while in the position of trust or authority of a child.
Dean was taken into custody on Sept. 20 after police took a report two weeks before on Sept. 5, saying Dean had taken the minor to his home on multiple occasions and had sexual intercourse with the victim.
A Tupelo Municipal Court judge ordered Dean to be held without bond until his case is presented to a grand jury. Dean works out of nearby Alabama, recruiting young people to join the Marine Corps.
