With Christmas just around the corner, Grammy Museum Mississippi in Cleveland has announced plans for its sixth annual “Have Yourself a Delta Little Christmas!”

The program, which is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m., will be headlined by Delta artists Tricia Walker, Eden Brent, the Buford Sisters, and Fish Michie. Walker’s songs have been recorded on Grammy-nominated discs by Kathy Troccoli, Debby Boone, the Imperials, Patty Loveless, Faith Hill, and Aliso Krauss, whose performance of Walker’s “Looking in the Eyes of Love” earned a Grammy Award in 1997.

Contributing to guest performances will be pianist Jim Trotter, singer Jan Brock, and the Delta State Vocal Collective.

“We’re so happy to welcome back these incredible artists for one of our favorite events,” Grammy Museum Mississippi executive director Emily Havens said. “With familiar faces and fresh talent from our amazing Delta musicians, it’s going to be a night full of great music, joy, and holiday spirit.”

Tickets for the event will go on sale to the general public on Nov. 8 for $100 apiece. All tickets include a pre-event reception beginning at 6 p.m. Proceeds from “Have Yourself a Delta Little Christmas!” support the museum’s education mission. Members can go ahead and purchase tickets for $75 apiece.

“Have Yourself a Delta Little Christmas!” is sponsored by Earth Data Incorporation, Mitchell Distributing, Regions, SuperTalk Mississippi Media, and Visit Mississippi.
