The murder suspect had been on the run for two days after allegedly killing his wife, Elena Davis, on Tuesday evening. Christopher is said to have entered a home on Graves Avenue before shooting Elena, 50, and Kortnik Graves, 52.
Tension had been rising between the couple for weeks, according to police, as Elena had recently filed a protection order against Christopher. Christopher, who was also wanted for a domestic violence case in nearby D’Iberville, is said to have tried to burn down Elena’s house in the Pine Haven neighborhood before eventually killing her.
At the time of the shooting, Elena was “hiding” from Davis, per a report from WLOX.
Christopher is charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
