Rock enthusiasts in central Mississippi will be in for a treat this coming spring.

On Tuesday, officials announced that the first stop of the “Awaken the Fallen” tour, a collaboration between Staind and Breaking Benjamin, will be at the Brandon Amphitheater on Saturday, April 26.

Staind, formed in 1995 in their hometown of Springfield, Mass., has released eight studio albums and 12 top 10 singles. Break the Cycle, released in 2001, featured the smash single, “It’s Been Awhile,” one of the most-played songs in modern rock radio history, spending 20 weeks at No.1 on the charts.

In 2023, Staind released their first studio album in 12 years, Confessions of the Fallen, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock Album chart, and spawned a pair of No. 1 singles on rock radio.

No stranger to the upper echelon of rock charts, Breaking Benjamin has had immense success since bursting onto the scene with Saturate in 2002. The band has amassed multiple mainstream rock radio hits, with 10 songs hitting No. 1, numerous platinum and multi-platinum albums, 8.5 billion combined streams worldwide, and a social imprint of over 6.5 million.

Their most recent release, AURORA, gave Breaking Benjamin their 10th chart-topping song on rock radio with “Far Away.” Breaking Benjamin’s last studio album, EMBER debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 and marked the multiplatinum band’s fourth top-five debut on the charts.

Joining Staind and Breaking Benjamin in Brandon will be Wage War and LAKEVIEW. Tickets to the upcoming concert will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m.
