The woman accused of stealing an ambulance and crashing into a DeSoto County hospital has been identified by law enforcement.
Kandanice Stevenson, 34, is charged with aggravated assault on an officer, felony taking of a motor vehicle, malicious mischief, and disturbance of a public place.
She is accused of stealing an ambulance one week ago and crashing it into Baptist-Memorial Hospital in Southaven. A hospital employee was injured as a result of the collision.
Southaven police believe Stevenson acted alone and referred to the crash as an “isolated incident.” No bond information has been released at this time.
