Northern Mississippi
After some patchy fog in the morning, the sun should come out with a slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 90s. Heat index readings could get up to 112 degrees. Come nighttime, there could be some cloudage with lows in the mid 70s.
Central Mississippi
It will be mostly sunny after some foggy spots in the morning. Highs will be in the mid to upper 9s with heat index readings landing between 105 and 110 degrees. Some thunderstorms could pop up in the afternoon. After the sun goes down, it will be partly cloudy with lows in the mid 70s.
Southern Mississippi
A mostly sunny day is ahead with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 90s with heat index readings being anywhere from 104 to 109 degrees. Come nighttime, there will be a slight chance of showers with lows in the lower 70s.
