One Petal resident walked away with a $100,000 prize after matching four of the five numbers during Monday’s Powerball drawing.
The ticket — which had a portion of the winning numbers and the red Powerball — was purchased from Dandy Dan’s #532 in Petal.
According to the MLC, the ticketholder doubled the $50,000 prize after opting into the PowerPlay option of two.
Wednesday night’s jackpot for the Powerball drawing has risen to an estimated $255 million with a cash value of $117.1 million.
The grand prize total for additional lottery games has increased, with the Mississippi Match 5 jackpot rising to an estimated $61,000 for Wednesday’s drawing. The jackpot for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing is an estimated $267 million with a cash option of $122 million.
