Amanda Kloots to keynote Sanderson Farms Championship Women’s Day luncheon

TV personality Amanda Kloots will keynote this year’s Sanderson Farms Championship Women’s Day luncheon, announced by tournament officials on Monday.

Kloots is best known for her role as co-host of The Talk on CBS. The actor, writer, and dancer has also appeared in multiple Broadway musicals, written a best-selling memoir, and placed as a finalist on the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars.

Kloots will visit Jackson for Mississippi’s lone PGA Tour event and speak to attendees of the tournament’s 10th annual Women’s Day luncheon. According to a news release, topics Kloots is expected to discuss include her personal experiences, overcoming the loss of her husband Nick Cordero in 2020, and the power of community.

Women’s Day, sponsored by International Paper, will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Country Club of Jackson. Tickets for the event are $250 for individuals and $1,800 per table of eight.

“We are extremely grateful to International Paper for their ongoing commitment to the Women’s Day Luncheon,” Sanderson Farms Championship executive director Steve Jent said. “Their generous support has enabled us to make this event more extraordinary each year, establishing it as one of the premier women-centric events on the PGA Tour. We thank them for their 10 years as tournament partner.”

Events surrounding the 2024 Sanderson Farms Championship will run from Monday, Sept. 30 through Monday, Oct. 7. The pro-am is set for Wednesday, Oct. 2 before the professional field tees off on Thursday, Oct. 3. More information can be found here.
