As the pickleball craze continues to reach new heights, the American Pickleball Tournament (APT) has announced that it’s coming to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The competition will take place Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. Registration will begin on the evening of Thursday, September 22.

Upon registration, players will receive a visor, towel, as well as an invitation to social gatherings throughout the weekend. The top three winners will be awarded medals.

“The American Pickleball Tour is one of the most exciting tournaments around. We’ve taken America’s newest sports obsession and added a social spin to it. Participants will walk away with new friends and amazing memories,” APT founder Aaron Del Mar said. “We are thrilled to bring this fresh, new event to Biloxi!”

A combination of badminton, tennis, and ping pong, pickleball is one of the country’s fastest-growing sports (just ask Matthew Perry or Jamie Foxx). To learn more about the sport, click here or watch the video below.
