That’s bananas! A semi-trailer truck carrying dozens of boxes of bananas collided with a train in Gulfport on Tuesday.
Leaving fruit scattered all over the tracks at 33rd Avenue, the incident happened shortly after 4 p.m. Fortunately, no one was injured.
For the time being, all roads from 31st Avenue to Camp Avenue are blocked while the mess is cleaned up. Gulfport PD are asking people to avoid the area until further notice.
