A man is locked up for allegedly fatally striking a bicyclist and fleeing the scene in Tishomingo County.
According to law enforcement, the incident occurred Sunday night on Line Road in the Golden area. Police said the victim, identified as John McGee, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Alabama.
Julio Ramirez was handcuffed in connection with McGee’s passing. Ramirez is charged with aggravated driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death.
