Biloxi’s casino industry is shattering records. The 8 casino’s in the city generated $111-million in gross gaming revenue for the month of April, eclipsing a $105-million record set in July of 2007. There have only been 4 times revenues exceeded $100-million in a single month, making this the best April ever–by 30%.
The city is reporting near record sales tax revenues for April as well, right at $1.22-million, just shy of the $1.24-million generated in August of 2016.
