The body of a teenager who is said to have drowned in the Pascagoula River has been located.
On Monday evening, first responders received a call about the accidental drowning of 17-year-old Jacob Mullen. A crew was immediately sent to the scene and the search continued overnight and into Tuesday when authorities discovered Mullen’s body.
Mullen’s body was found about a quarter mile away from where he was last seen in Lucedale, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
