The three men who were taken into custody for a shooting that occurred at a Louisville graduation celebration have had their bond set by a judge.
Law enforcement arrested Teriyon McNeal, Terence McNeal, and Matthew Shumaker after an 18-year-old woman was shot in the leg near a party at Club Dynasty on May 24. All three have been charged with aggravated assault. Both Teriyon McNeal and Matthew Shumaker are juveniles who have been charged as adults.
Louisville Police Chief Sean Holdiness told WTVA that it was a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong place for the victim.
“It should make people aware that they need to pay attention to detail and of their surroundings when they’re going outside,” Holdiness said. “In fact, they had a family member that was inside of the club prior to the shooting and she left prior to the shooting because she felt like it was getting very heated in the club… And that’s showing some good common sense right there.”
Each of the three suspects has had their bond set at $75,000.
