When the COVID-19 pandemic struck Mississippi, Cathead Distillery in Jackson pivoted operations in order to produce hand sanitizer, which was at a shortage across not only the state but the nation.
On Wednesday, the distillery announced that they have donated a stockpile of 90,000 bottles and 250,000 packets of hand sanitizer supplies to the Mississippi State Department of Health.
Over the course of the pandemic, Cathead has provided hand sanitizer to essential businesses—including the Mississippi Hospital Association, Department of Transportation, Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, and Entergy—local governments, and citizens across the Magnolia State.
