Gary W. Rose of Savannah, TN, is being held in the Monroe County Jail for enticement of a child to produce visual depiction of sexually explicit material.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department says Rose, a 37-year-old child predator, was seeking to take advantage of vulnerable children, through the use of social media.
In this case, the victim was 14-years-old.
This investigation and arrest were the result of efforts by the Monroe County Cyber Crime Division.
Monroe County authorities are urging parents, “Please do your best to keep up with who is communicating with your kids.”
