Comedy giant Rob Schneider will be making a stop in the Mississippi Pine Belt this coming spring.

You’ve seen him in a multitude of movies, particularly ones produced by Adam Sandler, and you’ve heard his stand-up work for years. Now, you have a chance to witness the award-winning celebrity in person.

The actor and comedian is set to bring his “Rob Schneider: Rescue Husband” tour to Hattiesburg’s Saenger Theater on March 14.

Schneider rose to the scene, earning a spot on the “Saturday Night Live” comedy team, after performing stand-up routines in his hometown of San Francisco. After leaving “SNL” in 1994, Schneider transitioned to the film industry, starring in movies like “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo,” “The Water Boy,” “The Benchwarmers,” and “Grown Ups.”

He’s also had roles in television sitcoms and Netflix series as an actor, producer, and director. Schneider is currently co-starring in Netflix’s “Home Team,” starring Kevin James, as he embarks on a new stand-up tour.

Growing up in a multi-racial and multi-religious household, Schneider often humorously discusses his mixed background when taking the main stage. Audiences are generally given a comedic look at Schneider’s family and personal life through a series of anecdotes.

Tickets to Schneider’s upcoming show in Hattiesburg will go on sale on Friday and will be available here.
