Jackson State head football coach Deion Sanders is capturing national headlines once again.
Coach Prime will make his debut on CBS’ 60 Minutes as sports journalist and author Jon Wertheim recently traveled to Mississippi’s capital city to speak with Sanders about his decision to coach at Jackson State and much more.
“I’ve got to win in every facet of life. That’s what winning is. That’s our natural odor,” Sanders said in the 60 Minutes preview. “We don’t even use cologne. Baby, we are winners. We smell like winning around here.”
Prior to his appearance on the popular Sunday evening televised newsmagazine, Coach Prime’s Tigers will battle on the road against Bethune Cookman at 3 p.m. CT. The game can be watched on ESPN+.
