An assistant district attorney in DeSoto County was arrested and placed behind bars on Thursday.
Thomas Waller, 56, was booked into the DeSoto County Jail just after 5 p.m. and is charged with contempt of court. He bonded out around 1 a.m. on Friday.
No other details have been released at this time. However, District Attorney Matthew Barton is expected to issue a statement sometime Friday morning.
