Mississippi’s newest professional baseball club is offering fans an opportunity to be a part of its inaugural campaign at an affordable price.

The Mississippi Mud Monsters, a Frontier League team setting up shop in Trustmark Park this coming spring, announced on Tuesday that fans can attend all 48 home matchups on the diamond for just over $1 per game.

Family season passes, which include five general admission tickets for each home game, are now going for $275, while individual passes are available for $175.

On top of season passes, folks are also able to snag Mud Monster team gear as a gift for baseball enthusiasts and Mississippians looking forward to the club’s debut.

In the meantime, club officials tell SuperTalk Mississippi News that a field manager will be hired sometime in the near future. An announcement is expected to be made soon after the new year begins. The field manager will then be able to assemble a roster, which has been assured to feature players with ties to the state.
