Six people have been confirmed dead following a fatal car crash in Kosciusko.
First reported by Breezy News, the incident took place near the city’s career technical center on Highway 12 East on Monday around 2:30 p.m. First responders quickly arrived at the scene.
As a result of the collision, one vehicle is said to have caught on fire and multiple people were reported to have been trapped in another vehicle.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. No identities have been released.
Authorities with the Mississippi Highway Patrol are investigating the wreck.
