Work continues across Jackson to resolve the city’s ongoing water crisis, with the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Administrator Deanne Criswell announcing plans to visit the capital city on Friday.

FEMA released the plans to arrive in Mississippi’s capital city on social media on Thursday, with the post stating that Criswell’s goal is to ensure the residents of Jackson will have safe drinking water.

Updates will be given on FEMA’s plans to improve the water quality in Jackson at a later time.
