The Ole Miss football team is asking fans to keep former Rebel standout KD Hill in their thoughts and prayers.

Hill, who suited up as a defensive tackle for Ole Miss from 2018-2022, was involved in a car accident Saturday. According to the Forever OLE MISS Facebook page, the wreck was “career-ending” for the Eufaula, Ala., native.

After redshirting as a freshman, Hill compiled 56 tackles, four for loss, and one sack in 45 games. In 2022, he received the Chucky Mullins Courage Award, which is given annually to an upperclassman defensive player who embodies the spirit and courage of the late Mullins.

After going undrafted in this year’s NFL Draft, Hill was invited to training camp with the New York Jets.

As of now, no other details regarding the crash have been released.
