A Franklin County woman has been charged in the case of her ex-husband’s fatal shooting on Friday.
28-year-old Kacie Deanna Woods was charged with second-degree murder after her ex-husband, 53-year-old James Marshall Woods, was shot to death last week. According to Franklin County law enforcement authorities, Woods was fatally shot at approximately 12:37 p.m. in the area of Old Loop Road.
Kacie Woods is reportedly claiming self-defense in the shooting. She was questioned by investigators before being charged and had bond set at $300,000.
