Christiane Williams has worked in law enforcement / criminal justice for over 25 years, and she understands the need for our leaders to be educated on mental health issues. Christiane has partnered with many municipalities and state agencies to provide mental health training for the Executive Branches of Law Enforcement, Elected Officials, and Clergy.

These trainings are free and offered in the Tri-county area. The training topics include disability rights, mental illness disorders, de-escalation, role play, and community resources. The goal of the mental health workshop is to help increase awareness and understanding of mental illnesses and connect and strengthen departments, agencies, and community relationships.

Workshop dates: June 15 & 22 and July 13 & 20 at Hinds Behavioral Health.
