Free mini golf course coming to Jackson

A mini golf course is set to come to Parham Bridges Park in Jackson, according to an announcement from national nonprofit Park Golf.

At this time, Parham Bridges Park offers walking trails, tennis courts, a playground, and fitness equipment in northeast Jackson at no cost to the public.

The course — which will be Park Golf’s first location in the United States — will include three holes that will be available to the public to play for free. The distance from each hole will vary between 30 to 40 yards on artificial turf.

A complete plan will be presented to the Jackson City Council in January 2023, with First Tee-Central Mississippi stating that the new mini golf course will not need funding from the city for its construction.
