All remaining restrictions at Mississippi casinos will be lifted on Friday.
Capacity at the state’s casinos has been capped at 75% since March 4th, but as a return to normalcy continues, a memo issued by the Mississippi Gaming Commission states that all remaining restrictions related to COVID-19 “will be canceled effective April 30, 2021 at 5:00 pm CST.”
The lifting of these requirements includes the mask mandate that had been in place for both visitors and casino employees.
The Gaming Commission does note that “all licensed operators shall continue to abide by any state and local rules or ordinances pertaining to COVID-19.”
