Grace is now the second hurricane of the 2021 season in the Atlantic, aiming for the Cayman Islands on its path toward Mexico. Lt. Colonel Sean Cross is a pilot with the Hurricane Hunters. They’ve been busy gathering lifesaving information on Fred, Grace and Henri for meteorologists.
“They’re the best in the business, best in the world. They’ve been doing it a long time. Our job is just to fly the plane and extract the data from the low pressure area and give it to those guys in real time so that they can make an accurate forecast,” Cross told SuperTalk Mississippi this morning during an interview on The Gallo Show.
Grace is not expected to be a threat to the U.S. However Henri’s track is less certain. We’re in the peak of this year’s Hurricane Season, which ends November 30th.
