Gulfport native Taylor Howard says he wants to wear out, not rust out. The city paid tribute to the WWII veteran on his 103rd birthday today. Howard has served on several community advisory boards over the years, and was instrumental in starting a Neighborhood Watch program. In 2017 at a youthful 99 years of age, the Mississippi House of Representatives passed a resolution honoring him for his contributions to both our state, and our country.
