Halloween-themed Lego event rolling into Gulfport’s TrainTastic museum

Something spooky (and stackable!) is coming to the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s beloved TrainTastic museum. Known for its massive model train displays, hands-on exhibits, and imaginative play zones, TrainTastic is switching tracks this Halloween with its first-ever “Brick or Treat” event – a Lego-themed night of family fun on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The event will feature hands-on Lego activities, themed challenges, crafts, and spooky surprises spread throughout the museum’s exhibits. Families are encouraged to come in costume and participate in make-and-take builds, Halloween games, and other seasonal activities.

Lego is currently the top-selling toy brand in the U.S., purchased by about 1 in 4 U.S. households over the past year, more than any other toy. These colorful classics are part of a global toy empire that sells over 75 billion pieces a year – that’s more than 10 Lego bricks for every person on Earth.

Admission is $20 for TrainTastic members and $25 for nonmembers. Each ticket includes full museum access and all “Brick or Treat” activities. Space is limited, and organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance online.

Proceeds from admissions and donations support TrainTastic, a nonprofit organization that provides interactive and educational experiences for families year-round.
