One Hattiesburg resident walked away with the grand prize jackpot worth $323,287.75 after matching all five numbers during Thursday’s Mississippi Match 5 drawing.
The ticket — which had the winning numbers 5-6-12-24-29 — was purchased from Corner Fuel Center on Highway 49 in Hattiesburg.
The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize, which must be done at MLC headquarters in Flowood.
Friday night’s jackpot for the Mississippi Match 5 drawing has reset to an estimated $50,000.
The grand prize total for additional lottery games has increased, with the Mega Millions jackpot rising to an estimated $137 million in anticipation of Friday’s drawing. The jackpot for Saturday’s Powerball drawing is an estimated $125 million with a cash value of $54.3 million.
