Help for elderly Mississippians available through The Division of Aging and Adult Services

Numerous programs designed to assist elderly Mississippians and their caregivers are available through The Division of Aging and Adult Services at the MDHS.� Director Kenyada Blake-Washington visited The Gallo Radio Show�on�SuperTalk Mississippi�to make sure residents across the state are aware of the many services available.

The Division Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) has a mission to assist aging and vulnerable adults, their families, and caregivers in achieving healthy, safe, and independent lifestyles, through advocacy, protection, education, and stewardship of public resources.

DAAS plans, coordinates and advocates for, and ensures the provision of services to all older Mississippians.
