posted in: Mississippi News | 0

The suspected Howard Industries shooter has had his bond set at $750,000.

20-year-old Keith Hinton was bonded out of jail after being charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of aggravated assault.

Hinton shot one person Friday morning before officers issued a BOLO on the suspect’s 1986 gray GMC pickup truck. Hinton was later captured in Stone County.

Authorities say Hinton ran into the plant after the shooting, triggering an evacuation and manhunt.

The gunshot victim, who we now know as 57-year-old Dale Thornton, is reportedly in stable condition.

Laurel police are continuing to an ongoing investigation into this case.
