A man is behind bars after an infant was found asleep at the site of a drug bust in central Mississippi.

Ridgeland police and officers with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics executed a search warrant on Planters Grove.

During the search, law enforcement seized approximately 9.7 pounds of marijuana, 32 ounces of THC wax, and approximately 2.7 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms. Two handguns and two AR-style pistols were also recovered.

Additionally, an 11-month-old child is reported to have been found asleep in a bedroom within close proximity to the unsecured firearms and narcotics.

Justin Wilson, 26, was handcuffed at the scene. He is charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute, tampering with evidence, and child endangerment.

The child has since been placed in the custody of a family member.
